LIST OF BENEFITS:
- Lamezia Your Way - Lamezia opens the door to Southern Italy’s underrated gems, like Reggio di Calabria’s beaches and Dino Island’s fascinating blue cave. From Calabria, head to the Greek temples and volcanoes of Sicily, or travel to the heel of Italy’s boot – Matera’s ancient cave dwellings and Puglia’s pristine white sands are well worth the detour.
- Couples - Luxuriate with your sweetheart at the Terme di Caronte, sulphurous mineral springs that have been a place of healing and comfort for wayfarers, soldiers and messengers since Ancient Greece. Let the Castello Normanno Svevo, an ensemble of ruins high on a hill, capture your imagination. Built at the end of the 9th century, heavily damaged over the years by earthquakes, and then abandoned in the 1700s, the castle lends itself to picturing the romance of a bygone era.
- Kid- Friendly Fun - Kids love running through the hundreds of hectares of olive groves and vineyards at the Azienda Agricola Statti, not to mention visiting the 600 dairy cows on the premises. Three or four calves are born here each day, making for an extra special experience. A half hour’s drive takes you to Pizzo Calabro, where the whole family can enjoy the spectacular Calabrian seaside. Be sure to have a taste of this town’s most famous export—tartufo ice cream.
